All I have to say is POOR SERVICE.

Service is sometimes a little slow on Folino's side but most times great on diner side. Food is always good. Love the Greek Dinner plate and frittatas!

Best late-night diner in Pittsburgh. Food is good, menu is wide, and breakfast is always served.

We go here a lot, especially around 2-3am once the nearby FatHeads, Smokin' Joes etc have closed up, to catch some late-nite breakfast and coffee. If you're there before liquor curfew, they even have a decent selection of bottled micro and imported beers. Prices are reasonable. The East Carson area (and beyond) is fortunate to have such a decent 24-hour diner.

We ate there last night for the first actual "normal hours" dining around 8pm and had a decent meal. The server was extremely friendly and intelligent, and rather competent with 5 people making all sorts of odd requests at our table. The first thing she did was to offer to shove 2 four-person tables together so we could all eat together. Beverages were brought near-instantly, food came out reasonably quickly and was all correct. She checked back frequently with us. The server herself added to the overall positive experience, last night.

Went there on Saturday the "new and improved" is much worse. Never got our drinks, the hostess had to get there. Had to ask for refills 2 times, when our drinks sat there empty for 5 minutes. Food took forever! It wasn't busy in there at all. Asked for Sierra Mist instead of water, never got it! I seriously will never go back, don't waste your time or money. Also, the hostess wouldn't split our check and we had to go ask for our bill in the first place.

In conclusion, dont' waste your time, food terrible, service terrible, price terrible.
