You'll feel close to heaven dining on the 52nd floor of the Back Bay's Prudential Center, where glass walls offer sublime, 360-degree views of the city – and the New American cuisine and live jazz are pretty terrific too; expect lines at prime times and be aware that the tabs get pricey quickly (cocktails in the lounge are a less expensive option), but given the overall extraordinary experience, this special-occasion hub is certainly worth the money.

We went yesterday night around 9 pm; 1/19/2016. Is my first time in Boston. I felt offended when I was there, it was not a good welcome. Probably we didn't like her, the hostess was rude with us. I have to tell you that nobody at the door told us nothing about how the restaurant works.(Dinner area, live music, menu, etc.) So we walked by there just to take a look where would like to sit, then, she(Hostess) got to us with angry face and rude form, and told us that we can't stay there, (IS NOT AN OBSERVATORY) but believed me, in really bad form, like if we were delinquents. When I was telling her that is not the way to let us know how works the restaurant also we were looking to a table, the manager came to me, so he was rude as well, and he started to explain us about the menu and about each area of the restaurant and how much you have to spend if you want to sit in a dinner area, but he was so rude too and never apologize. I was close to leave from that place 'cause that horrible welcome, but I didn't want to ruin that night with my friends and I tried to forget the bad moment, so We stayed there. We ordered Bacon Scallops, hearts of romaine salad, Cavatappi Primavera, Sirloin Steak, and something else, the food was good, actually I ate the steak and was good. The server was good. The restaurant has a beautiful view. We spent almost 200 bucks. I felt so bad at the beginning for those persons. But later I just tried to forgot it.

Hands down my favorite bar in Boston. Love the jazz music and the relaxed atmosphere! I come here almost every month and order the crème brulée and prosecco. Better recommended for a visit after dinner, not for.

Came in with my friend, this being my first time in Boston it was recommended that I come here by a Boston native. Was sat immediately, however ended up waiting 20 minutes to get greeted. Only after I mentioned to the host that we had not received service did someone finally come to our table. After complaining to the server about having to wait a long time to even get greeted, all he had to say was "ok." We then waited another 10 minutes to get our waters after ordering, which we complained about again in which he responded "okay well this wasn't even my table, I picked it up for someone else" and my friend thanked him for taking our table. While waiting for our food we noticed the table next to us got up after what seemed like 10 minutes of sitting and not getting any service. I told them we had the same problem to which they asked how long we waited to get waters, and when I said "20 min" they said "yeah, we're out!" We ended up waiting 1 hour and 20 minutes for our food, and the steak my friend ordered came out cold, so she sent it back. When our server finally came back to check on us we asked if a manager was in the restaurant, and he said no. My friend called the restaurant while we were sitting in the dining area, asked for the manager, and little to our surprise it was the manager that answered the phone. She came to our table immediately, her name was Theresa if I recall. She heard us out, apologized, and assured that something was going to be said to the server, and comp'd our meal. Honestly the worst experience eating out in my life. I tried to have a little slack considering I'm a server as well ...

Great atmosphere! We went intending to have a drink first and then a table for dinner a little after 5 on a Saturday night. We went to the hostess to make a reservation and was told that there was a line that started downstairs. I asked our bartender if he knew about this and he said that he would check. He checked and told us that that in fact was the procedure. I checked Open Table and the next reservation was for 9PM. That said, we enjoyed our drinks at the bar and the crowd was friendly. I can only say regarding the food that we have eaten here in the past and found both the food and service to be nothing but top notch but a nice view to boot.

Visited the Top of the Hub while on vacation. The Skywalk was closed due to a private event so I ended up going to the restaurant for a drink and ended up eating a late lunch. The views are amazing. The staff was friendly and courteous. I had their rendition of chicken pot pie. It didn't exactly take my breath away, but was definitely tasty. I had the Boston Cream Pie for desert which I also enjoyed. The only part I can really fault is that the drinks I ordered from the bar were inconsistent. One was okay but the second was not mixed right. It was a bit pricey but I felt that it was worth it.
