07/22/2015 3:25 pmProbably the best seafood we've had in years. The whole team got to eat here, and it was glorious. 10/10 would recommend. |

11/25/2014 4:06 amTop of the Market is a blast from the past on the sand in Newport with great views of the water. It was overwhelmed over the July 4 weekend. We had an 8 pm reservation on a busy Saturday night, and there were delays I'm being seated, getting menus, drinks and most problematic, a really long wait for food to arrive. We never really got an explanation but at this price point and relatively small size, this restaurant needs to do better. The good was good when it finally arrived. |

11/13/2014 5:55 pmTried a late lunch here. Will suggest if you are NOT in need of the formalities, eat downstairs - more casual, more enjoyable, and a much better menu. Upstairs, the food is good, not great, but solid. However - for three we exceeded $200 - at lunch with $40 in cocktails. PLEASE - MGMT - get larger glasses for those sitting outside... Your waitstaff is unlikely to be as attentive as they are inside - and I certainly don't appreciate the wait for WATER nor Beverage... |

11/08/2014 12:28 pmThis outstanding restaurant located at San Diego is one of our favorites.Top of the Market offers delicious food, excellent service and a cozy, inviting atmosphere with gorgeous ocean views. Try the tender calamari steak or the swordfish for a real treat. Delicious! |

10/19/2014 8:56 pmWill someone please take me? This is easily one of the best places in the city for fresh, well prepared seafood. With breathtaking panoramic views and attentive staff this place is ideal for impressing your dining companions. My favorite is the Dungeness Crab Cioppino. This right there is heaven. Huge chunks of crab, scallops, clams and more in a delicious marinara broth with pasta and a couple crab legs. All coming together for perfection. Just stop what you are doing, come up wit an excuse for a nice meal and get over there. |
