This restaurant looks good but when I got there at 4pm , because that is what the website said and I called just incase to make sure, they told me that the kitchen does not open until 5pm. I was so upset because my parents and I went to check out the food because we are in the process of getting a caterer for my daughters sweet 15. So I never even got to check out how good the food is .

Good food. Decent prices. Place seems perpetually empty though for some reason.

My husband and I bought a Travelzoo voucher from Miami when planning our trip....this place is a hidden gem.. the area is a little sketchy but once inside it doesn't matter...we ordered the mini Spanish sausage ...spicy and DeLICIoUs! It also had mashed potatoes that was great!!! Then we had the chicken wings, great flavor and the chicken quesadillas that were awesome...then we had the shrimp in garlic sauce...super good...I also enjoyed the calamari but recommend to get the grilled instead of a la romana! sangria was NICE!!! Good buzz :)))) I would eat here again!!!!

My wife and I were very pleased with our meal at Top Spanish Cafe. There was a lot of excitement about this restaurant on the community blogs/webpages and we were anxious to give it a try. All I can say is the service was excellent and everyone was very friendly. The food was delicious--their menu was still being tweaked a bit, but they had a good selection of Spanish and Latin American cuisine. I had the Bistec Encebollado (steak with onions) served with typical rice and beans. My wife had a large beef burrito with pico de gallo, and she says it was very good as well. Great guacamole also.

Also, the restaurant had great atmosphere--wood ceiling, beautiful tables and chairs, a lovely little restaurant. It also included a small bar and some flat screen tvs. I would definitely consider watching a few soccer or football games at Tops on a Saturday or Sunday night. Four stars only because the a/c either wasn't working or had not been set up--but wasn't uncomfortable. Great Spanish/ Latin American food--lovely little restaurant.
