Food:

Hands down, best steakhouse I have ever been to. The service, the menu, the cocktails; nothing less than extraordinary. There is such an incredible attention to detail in everything they do, and the food is consistently amazing. They treat every single customer as someone special, that type of service these days is very rare. I worked in food service for many years, and after a while, you set a standard for what service should be, especially in a nice restaurant; The Top sets the standard for impeccable service.

Food:

The great atmosphere and amazing food. I would highly recommend this place to anyone. The ribs are the best I've ever had and you can't go wrong with the lobster tails. Don't forget the thick cut bacon appetizer. I belive our servers name was Joesph. I'd ask for him he took great care of us!

Food:

Went Saturday Septembember 26th for our anniversary. My KC strip was so tough I couldn't cut or chew it. When I told the waitress, she said there must be a vein in it and walked away. Didn't even offer to take it back.
On top of that, the lady at the next table had her boob out breast feeding the entire night. Horrible experience!

I was very excited to go here, as I'd heard so much over the years and had never been. Was fun to do the retro dining thing, but overall a disappointing experience. Service was average, not exceptional. At times, it seemed we were inconveniencing our server or that she was distracted by other things. My medium rare to rare steak arrived medium well. There wasn't much sympathy or apology in that situation either, nor any adjustment on our bill. The food was adequate, but again, not extraordinary. One exception - the bacon appetizer was delish.

We have been there a few times. I have to say the Ribeye steak is very good. The building is old and has not been fixed up, but it is kind of nice, sort of a throw back in time, a bit dark and a bit crowded. The service is pretty good. Not the best waiters but okay. A bit pricey but I would say this is the best steakhouse on the east side of Columbus.I like that it is not a franchise, feel like I am supporting local business. I am planning to go back.
