Love the food and great prices. Just keep an eye out for hair on your entrees and cups. I've come across it twice and been here only 4 times.

My boyfriend took me here for lunch and I truly enjoyed my meal. I had the hibachi with white rice and a delicious creamy sauce. Loved it!

Hard to beat the quality for the price. Fairly simple hibachi grill but with quality ingredients, and quick service too. Certainly the best Japanese "fast" grill in the University area, and possibly all of Charlotte.

This is great quality food at a great price! Always busy always really good. I crave the chicken teriyaki with brocolli. Zuchini is spectacular on the side! Lived in Charlotte almost 7 ys and have eaten here more times than any other resturants!

This is my second time going there. The first time was not good but it was really crowded so I thought I'd give it a second chance and order the same meal (for comparison) during a less busy time. Well, busy or not, it does not matter. The cashiers and waiters were nice and seemed to know what they are doing, but is that really why people go to restaurants? No. They go for the food initially. I ordered the Hibachi Chicken to go. I got back to my desk ready to eat and upon opening the container I am hit with a burnt rice smell.... well i think maybe its from the grilled chicken. NO! I taste the rice and it is hard and taste over cooked. I tried smothering it in ginger sauce, this does not help. The carrots portion is probably 1/3 of what I saw on dine-in plates. The chicken just as dry as the first time I ordered. I will not return.

If anyone is looking for a good spot check out Niyo near David Cox Rd (by the post office & Jasons Deli). I tried them 3 times and have yet to be disappointed with the hibachi chicken.
