Trader Joe's is great. Used to have them in California, so happy that they're opening one in New Orleans.

I love it here! Although the prices have gone up since they've come to Baton Rouge they are still very reasonable and have a quality similar to whole foods but without the price. An awesome selection of frozen and fresh meals, as well as anything else you might need. They never use artificial coloring or preservatives in any of their products and their staff is always friendly and helpful. I go here on a weekly basis and often regret it when I shop anywhere else. I hope they open up a second location and keep their prices low. One of the best value places to get wine and spirits in Baton Rouge. They also do free samplers and have a very interesting selection of treats. They also have a no questions asked return policy if you do not like something.

My only complaint about Trader Joe's is that I have to drive from Mandeville LA to Baton Rouge to shop there. I fell in love with Trader Joe's while living in California as a travel nurse. There was a Trader Joe's easily accessible in just about every town! Where I live in Mandeville, they are currently renovating an old grocery store location for a new Whole Foods, and while I am happy about that....there is No Place Like Trader Joe's...products are unique and wonderful...staff is awesome...shopping there is like going on an adult field trip:)

Having lived in CA for some 20 years and, I was familiar w/Trader Joe's and have always loved shopping there. Love the fact that you can get unusual items at very reasonable prices, some even cheaper than the usual super market. Everything is always so fresh and keeps for quite awhile for me, also it is a pleasure shopping there because of the friendly, helpful and courteous employees. Several have often quit what they were doing to find things I could not locate when it first opened. Now, I know where everything is. I shop there weekly. Also the flyer they send out I appreciate. Always keeps you up on the latest stock. Keep up the Good Work Trader Joe's!
