Trader Joe's, Nashville, Tennessee Restaurant Details

Extremely friendly staff. No sales -- just great prices for quality food! Gotta love the consistency in a grocery store.

Food:

I love Trader Joe's, but always have trouble with the parking lot. Other than that, the produce is fesh, frozen food is excellent, and the staff friendly.

This usually is a 5 star rating BUT the last two times that I've been there the two different check out clerks have been border line rude. Since the time they opened I've been a loyal customer -shopping there every two weeks buying GF foods- and even tho it is in a way to small building and it is always way too busy, I know that when I check out, it will be a pleasant and most times a fun experience. But lately they barely speak and treat you as if you are a nuisance. I'm not sure what is going on but this customer service is not what I'm used to.

Food:

I give this 5/6 stars, dinging the 6th one because they freaking need to open another store somewhere else in the city. Green Hills is a pain to get in and out from and it's seriously (along with their crappy parking lot) the only reason I don't like the store.

Of course, the food choices are infinite and very affordable here. Vegetarians are treated to dozens of choices here, and almost always I duck in here for eggs and milk and leave with more food than I came in for!

Sure trader joes has awesome foods and decent prices, however customer services is terrible. They carry a seasonal item that my family loves but quickly sell out every year. I was told on Saturday that they'd have it in stock Sunday morning. I drive 40 min one way to the store and am told it won't come till the evening. I go back there in the evening an wait 40 min for them to check the pallet surprise it's not there. They say they may get it and they will call me. Monday morning they call and say they are holding it for me. I go there Monday and they not only are they not holding it as they said but that they did indeed receive it Sunday night and sold out and would be getting another shipment and would call. I refused to go back a 4th time, and they offered me nothing except a lame apology for how sorry they are. So I did 3 1hr 20 min trips and they offer nothing except for me to come back a 4th time. Worst Company I've dealt with in years.
