This is my ABSOLUTE favorite grocery store. They have all natural and organic food at "very" affordable prices. The service there is amazing. I love how they offer new samples every day. This store is great if you like eating healthy. Most other health food stores are major expensive. So if you want to pay less and/or if have you a large family to shop for you should check it out, you'll love it!

This store deserves 10 stars for providing US citizen's access to real, non gmo food at reasonable prices. If you don't know what gmo food is, find out. US and Canada citizens are being poisoned by food, legally. Google, "Institute for Responsible Technology" and the documentary "Genetic Roulette: The Gamble of Our Lives," on you tube.

Missed Trader Joe's since moving from NJ. Was there on the first day it opened.

Favorite things about it:
1) snack foods (anything chocolate covered is inevitably DELICIOUS. Salsa is great too. The cheesy puffs and yogurt stars are my other two weaknesses)
2) more "natural" alternatives. For instance, Honey O's are basically Cheerios without things like high fructose corn syrup.
3) Frozen ethnic food selection.
4) The small size of the store -- makes shopping here quicker than at Wegmans or Tops.

Only downside is that produce isn't locally sourced, seems to come in excessive packaging and is bought by "each" not by "pound". I still shop at Public Market for produce.

It was great to find that TJ's was coming to Rochester, and I have not been disappointed. Their prices are a bit high on some things, but the things you can buy there are set apart from other stores. They carry some unique things, and it is fun to see what they have. Their prices on organic coconut oil are fantastic. The staff seems to be really happy to work there, and willing to help. I truly enjoy going to TJ's, and I think you will, too
