In fairness I did get the spaghetti and its hard to find really good spaghetti, however my son had the pizza which was very good and my wife liked her food. I will go back and get the chicken marsala next time though.

A downtown OKC favorite!

Attentive staff; bright decor and fabulous menu. (No "nosebleed" prices, either!)
The risotto's a personal favorite there, as is the fava bean dip.

Sean, the manager, is especially friendly and quick to attend to our every need.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

I haven't had anything here that wasn't great. The food, the drinks.... it is very good.

Myself and a co-worker ate at Trattoria during lunch time because we work downtown and wanted Italian that day. The restaurant had no other customers which automatically threw a red flag for me but we gave it a try. The prices were very expensive for lunch, around $13+ for an entree. Everything was ala carte. To add a salad was an extra $6+. The bread was cold, hard and served with a bland tasting bean paste. We both thought our entrees were tasty but nothing special. The portions were relatively small for the price. We left the restaurant still hungry after ordering the lunch portion. The quality was really no different from the chain italian restaurants. The interior was nice and eclectic. It's more like a place you would take a date. But yet, I don't know if I would take a date there after dark because it's in a relatively bad part of downtown. Both myself and my co-worker had the same opinion. I don't think either one of us will be back.‎

I sit here during my second time at Trattoria, and the homemade limoncello highlights my opinion of the place -- it will do in a pinch.

The food last night was less than memorable. Cappellini pomodoro should be refreshing and light for a moderate meal, but this was way overcooked (and topped with pregrated Parmesan from a bag or can). The wine list is limited without vintages.

The service, however, was great. Our waitress was kind and obliging, and humored the table endlessly while tolerating our lines of jokes (she'll be running News 9 very soon).
