Food:

For $40 we were given a greasy pizza worth maybe $7, and something identified as vegetable Lasagna which was a pile of fried onions and some pieces of pasta under some salad, and two cups of tea from a broken pouring instrument which leaked. This place should to be investigated by the DC health department and the Washington tourist people. It is a trap for people coming out of town and staying at the Marriott (The Marriott itself should warn people about it). The tables were covered with cheap paper. This is the worst "restaurant" I've been in over a life time..It tries to come off as an intimate Italian place..you walk down a couple of stairs and through a curtain..but it is a nauseating and extremely over-priced rip-off. How is it able to get away with it???

Although the place was half empty, they didn't seat me (party of one) as they didn't have 'room'. Judging form the reviews, the 'host' did me a favor by turning me away.

This was the worst restaurant experience of our lives. This place is awful, and I cannot believe it's still open. People should surround this place with protest signs and force it to shut down. The food tasted like barf, and they charged us a ton of money for it. The wait staff was very inconsiderate and unhelpful. I can't believe I left even a 4% tip. If you value your health, both physical and mental, you will not set one toe in this place.

We got 2 pizzas and a calzone. Yuck. The pizzas were super thin and barely had any cheese. You could see the crust through the toppings, and at 10 dollars each I'd expect more. My husband's calzone was also kind of gross. Waste of money.

DO NOT EAT HERE!! We killed like 5 roaches last year and saw various insect traps and ants!!!!
