10/01/2014 12:09 amMy family and I had dinner here for my birthday and it was amazing. The food quality, portioning, and even personal attention given to the customers is outstanding. Between the staff, the owner, the quality of the food and atmosphere I would recommend this place to anyone. I have been warned that it is packed on Fridays, so fair warning. |

02/10/2014 7:12 pmWhether it be dining in or ordering out, my experience at Trattoria Romana is always pleasant. The food itself is exquisite and definitely up to part with the classic Italian cuisine. As far as dining in, my experience is always pleasurable. The staff and owner are very welcoming and attentive; frequently making sure you enjoy your food as well as the experience. Although pricey, it was well worth the amount spent due to the food, welcoming and caring faculty, and overall experience. The noise level remains at a minimum and never rises higher than your comfort zone or to the point where you cannot hear yourself think. In addition, Trattoria Romana has outdoor seating which is unsurprisingly pleasant and comfortable, especially in warm climates. |

05/31/2015 2:21 pm"First-rate", "cooked-to-perfection" Italian cuisine makes this "welcoming" Dongan Hills "mainstay" a "worthwhile" Staten Island destination; "attentive" service, "reasonable" prices and a chef-owner who "treats his guests like family" help explain the "throngs" waiting in line. |
