Great place with good service. Pick something from the hand-written menu, their daily recommendations. Magnificient linguine with seafood.

Good service as well as good lasagna and eggplant parmesan. Enjoyed the outdoor dining and the people watching.

Once upon a time, about 6 years ago (waaaaaaaay before I started reviewing things online - so I was walking around with my former male bestie and craving pasta in the worst of ways...as one does when (surprisingly!) I wasn't tipsy in the least. Just hungry. Ravenous...and if I remember correctly had not eaten anything at work (which at the time was on Sullivan and Thomson in the good ol' West Village!).

To be honest, I would totally not be surprised in the least if they have a handful of awesome Italian grandomothers on their payroll and working their magic in the kitchen the food here is straight up bangin'!

What I most enjoy about Trattoria Spagheto is their ability to remain CONSISTENT. Each and every single time I have sat down for a meal here it was been delicious, service has been spot on and I always leave with a full belly, a happy heart and a whimsical smile on my face.

Portions here are just right, none of those pesky #FirstWorldProblems where you eat out and are still hungry once you've inhaled your entree. I'm also never so stuffed that I want to bend over and let my insides fall out because it's either that or a tow truck to drag me home.

Prices are insanely reasonable. Need a place for a first date that won't put a dent in your wallet but won't leave a girl wondering if she's in a fast-food establishment? Then this is your place!

The atmosphere here is quaint and old-school romantic. Tables are not placed too close together so you don't have to sit on other people's laps as your eyes glaze at the yummy saucy pasta in front of you.

Dessert here is also delicious and sometimes, if you're lucky, you'll get complimentary bruschetta as you wait for your entree to make its appearance. In case you're not aware, bruschetta is an Italian antipasto consisting of grilled bread rubbed with garlic and topped with tomatoes, olive oil, salt and pepper.

The standard complimentary treat here is a good, old fashioned bread basket consisting of several bread types - served warm - and with a small plate so that you can mix and swirl your oil and vinegar any way you like until your heart is content.

I love this place sooooooooooo so so so much and cannot believe that it has taken me this long to review it. 5 Googley Gogle+ stars. Absolutely molto bene! Venire!

The owner is very nice and gave us the 5 star treatment- kept our glasses full, worked with us personally for our orders, and gave us an appetizer and after dinner drinks on the house. He definitely earned my repeat business!
