There are lots of Italian restaurants around East Passyunk Crossing, but customers "go back" to this small, comfortable treasure for its creative, tasty cooking and attentive service; a few find it "costly" for what it is, but the BYO policy "helps keep the price down."

Best restaurant in the city hands down pastas are homemade the veal u can cut with a fork along with a great wait staff keeps me coming back

The black pappardelle with crab meat was one of the best pasta dishes I've had in Philly. Service was good. Would go back for the same exact dish. It's also byob which is a plus.

Our servers are what keep us coming back to Tre Scalini (Dennis and Tina). Nice home made pasta. Great place for the family.

Rude, Rude, Rude! I didn't even get a chance to go in this place and I already have sworn never to do so in the future! I called at noon to make a reservation for 2 at 5:30. No one answered, so I left a message with my reservation request and a phone number to confirm. At 3pm I didn't hear back, so I called again. The woman that picked up the phone had voice of a limp noodle (suggesting noodles could talk). She told me that they were booked and that they had no openings. I told her that it would have been nice if someone would have called and told me this so I could have made alternative plans. Her response (in her limp noodle, I don't really a shit voice)...."Oh, no one called? Sorry." Why in Gods name would you assign answering phones to someone who sounds like they have absolutely no interest whatsoever whether or not good customer service is provided??? My 9 year old son has better phone manners than this woman!
