In the heart of the North End's restaurant-jammed Hanover Street, this elegant Italian offers excellent Tuscan-inspired fare and a huge wine list ferried by a very attentive staff; co-owned by hockey legend Ray Bourque, it's teeming with sharp-dressed crowds, but also perfect for a date since the bi-level space includes a single (highly coveted) table for two on a private balcony.

Pretty good. I got truffle gnocchi, omg so delicious. But my salad and dessert were only Ok. I had a lovely times with lady friends but the service was a tad slow.

Best calamari I've had hands down. Really good food and they offered a sample of wine before buying a glass.

First off I never write reviews, especially bad ones. However, I was extremely disappointed with our experience after we saw a COCKROACH crawling up the wall next to our table. As soon as we saw it my boyfriend jumped up to tell someone while I waited at the table for someone to come by. While I was waiting, I saw it climb up on to my cocktail glass and tip over right into my drink. It was really a shame because the food was excellent and the service was great. But after leaving with a bug infested impression, I couldn't even fathom stomaching our leftovers we were planning on taking home. I really don't think it was acceptable especially at those prices

Went on a Thursday night around 830. We walked in and the lady said to sit anywhere. We waited for 15 minutes to get a menu.. No menu came so we walked out.

Love this place! the dining room is elegant, with an excellent menu and professional service. Try the cheese and salume bar for something more casual.
