12/28/2014 6:40 pmMy family mostly liked their food, but the sbanegh (ground lamb sauteed with spinach and pine nuts) made me sick. Slow service, decent atmosphere. |

03/31/2014 3:18 pmIf I could give this place zero stars I would. The food was ridiculously terrible. The lamb was dry and tough like a leather shoe. The stuffed grape leaves were hot and falling apart. And they threw last two pieces of cold stale pita bread still in the cheap supermarket bag open! It's incredible expensive for the quality. I don't eat fast food but I could get better food from the neighborhood Mcdonalds and the food would be better quality then this dump. I mean 40$ for cold stale store bought pita bread they didn't even try to pass it off like it wasn't from Target. Don't waste your money here your night will be full of disappointment and regret! |

11/17/2013 11:42 amWe came in on Saturday night as a party of 5. Ordered appetizers which arrived fairly quickly in about 15 minutes. Main course did not arrive for another hour. We were hungry and this was really vexing. Food was mediocre at best and service was terrible. Our waiter has not come to our table even ONCE to ask us if we needed anything. When asked to bring some sauce, he disappeared and we were forgotten about. I would not recommend this place to anyone. |

09/05/2010 7:05 amA friend who I hadn't seen in a while suggested that we go on a double date. We had walked in front of this place several times and had always been curious. It looked intriguing. We walked in at the same time as two or three other parties, but the place was practically empty. They put us at a table in the front window and didn't seem to want to bother with us again. Took them 20 minutes to come take our order. After we ordered, it took another 15 to come back and tell us that one the dishes we ordered was not available. Meanwhile, the two gentleman who were sitting next to us were already on their third course even though they had arrived late. The brought us the salad, but waited another 20 minutes to bring anything else. We had to hound a server who wasn't assigned to us. He apologized because everyone came in at once...all three tables. The food wasn't stellar either. I've had some really excellent Middle Eastern food in the city, and this was disappointing. Thin sauces. Our eggplant stew had only one or two pieces of eggplant. The lamb stewed in yogurt had no flavor and the (few) lamb chunks were cut in different sizes. To top it all off, they charged us $5 to uncork the bottle of wine we brought, as it was byob. Needless to say, that counted as their tip. I never write reviews, but thought this one deserved it... |
