Went there feeling enthusiastic, left feeling violated. Incredibly hostile service. Do yourself a favor and spend you money somewhere else

Good but service can improve. Server didn't come back if we want a second round of drinks....had to wave down a server and one never in sight wondering down and asking guests of they needed anything else.

Both times I've been here the music has been really wonderful. It is a hole in the wall, but it gives it listening club feel. Come a little bit early to snag your perfect seat, it often fills up. Sit in the back if you want to talk - but you can feel the Jazz as it encompasses your soul, so good luck! The food is not bad and the mixed drinks were delicious and strong!

Nice place for jazz lovers. The musicians were great and the food was delicious (I had the jerk chicken wings). I would say try to RSVP before going or get there early because the space is very small. However, this creates a very intimate setting which is great if you're on a date

A "nice place for jazz lovers", this stalwart U Streeter attracts aficionados with a calendar of local, national and international performers, all playing in a "very intimate" (read: "close quarters"), red-walled setting; all told, it's "a blast", with "great service" and a range of beers and cocktails, plus Jamaican and Ethiopian eats adding grace notes.
