05/03/2015 10:03 am"Nontraditional" is the word for these "Cajun-inspired" pizzerias where a "crunchy" cornmeal crust, "yummy" toppings and "provocative" names add some "N'Awlins" flavor; the settings and service are "casual" and tailor-made "for kids." |

03/27/2015 9:52 amThis is in the Alphabet City, not East Village. Even though they are trying to play the location game to bring in more people, It was still enjoyable, but I had to shave a star for the obviously deceptive location they pretend / Waana B in. |

04/13/2014 7:27 pmIf you can't make it to New Orleans then you should stop by at Two Boots. Charlie Parker's music is playing in the background. This place is better in service then in most places of Two Boots. There is more seats and their decor is different from the other places. I highly recommend their vegan pizza if they have it during the day. . |

02/03/2014 2:32 pmUpon first bite into a slice of Two Boots pizza, your brain will melt along with the cheese. What to love first: the crunch of the cornmeal dusted crust or the toppings which range from spicy to savory to crunchy? The names of the pizzas are a bit quirky, but mention Grandma Bess, Larry Tate or NIght Tripper and you'll get nods from among the converts. The pizza is so good you could go here for years before realizing they also have calzones, salads, heroes and Po' Boys. Who knew? Who cares. Go for the pizza! And even though they have other locations throughout Manhattan, Jersey, Nashville and LA, this locations is one of the popular ones, so consider yourself lucky if you can get seating at one of the smaller tables or banket seating along the windows. |

11/22/2013 10:24 pmExcellent pizza with a kick. The secret is in the sauce - mildly spicy, wholesome and rich. Great healthy options including whole wheat crust option for any pie. Crust has great little crunchies on it that make the texture amazing. Also, very reasonably priced! Medium pie was 13 bucks, but the have small and large variants. Definitely recommend this place! |
