Friendly wait staff, delicious food. My boyfriend had the smoked turkey hash and I had the half and half (half eggs florentine, half eggs benedict). Each meal came with their signature take on french toast, called California toast, which was delicious. The prices were reasonable, especially for two country folks visiting California, where everything is expensive to us. When we asked to purchase a bottle of their locally made hot sauce, the waitress just gave us a bottle (hope I don't get you in trouble, thank you!). Overall great experience.

Breakfast was huge and amazing!! Got 2 eggs, 4 sausage links, potatoes, and California toast (their version of French toast) for 7.50! Was the best breakfast I'd had in months!! Staff was a slow greet but was on top of my refills! Definitely will go back!

2 U, aka Two Umbrellas, is a wonderfully delightful taste bud of an experience. I ordered the granola and apple stuffed french toast which was so amazing! The plate comes with 4 slices of Texas style toast (how they make a Texan French, I'm not quite sure) with sweetened cream cheese and apple pie filling inside and granola encrusted outside; this plate is more than any one person can handle! My boyfriend had an omelet with blue cheese, glazed ham and onions, along with a side of home fries and french toast. He said it was great; a combination he wouldn't have thought of but that it was really tasty. Coffee was great, service was great, we'll definitely be back! We were both excited to find this little gem in our neighborhood. If you aren't from our corner of the 'hood, you may have trouble finding parking. But trust me, it is well worth trying to find it!
