U Gene's Deli & Pizza, Kansas City, Missouri Restaurant Details

I called an order in for carry-out while in the states for a school. I haven't had a good NY style pizza in a long time and thought i'd give 'em a try....I was so happy that I didn't use the standard delivery places, because my pizza was awesome. Literally gotta fold it to hold it.... fantastic in my opinion. Time from call to pickup was 15 mins. Thanks!

The "kids" working at night are a bunch of A** holes. They took my order over the phone, had me drive all the way up there and then locked the doors. Once they answered the phone after three calls, they realized it was me and hung up. I went to the gas station (Its connected) and asked why they hung up on me and where my order is and they said they were closed. (15min early from their sign) I asked why they would make me drive up there and then they called the police on me and refused to give me the owners number. After that they threatend to "step outside" and fight them? Sorry, im a 28 year old father who was hungry. Not looking to leave two little a** holes bloody in a parking lot." Dont go there unless you want shitty service and terrible food. If you order, they might just call the police and punch you!

ordered there last night night. The girl behind the counter stated, I could not order pizza or wings because they where backed up and the wait would be at least 50 minutes or more. So I ordered 2 subs. Very disappointed with the subs sandwiches, I ordered. First of all the girl was nice, however she need more help behind the counter. The order was wrong, she didn't make the sandwich right. Was not a lot on meat on it as well. She did apologize for the wait.

food is ok for take out, slighty undercooked soft dough, kind of difficult to dine in with few tables and we were asked to leave after waiting for our order because they were closing at 8pm so we returned to hotel. nothing horrible, nothing impressive.
