Great coffee and food, but it was hard to find a place to sit.

Food:

Went here on a whim once and it's one of my favorite in the U district now. The interior is small and lots of students camp out for hours at a time so sometimes finding a seat is difficult. Coffee and matcha latte are wonderful and staff is pleasant.

Food:

their croissant egg sandwiches, salmon bagels, and cold brew were great. nice cozy interior.

a few times there were stray hairs in my food. forgiveable, but repeat offenses leave you wondering about how much they care about keeping the kitchen and ingredients sanitary.

then I got really bad food poisoning a couple times (collapsed on the floor, cold sweats, nausea, verge of vomiting). haven't gone back since and haven't had a recurrence since.

Sooo much better than Starbucks!! And they don't over charge. Delicious coffee and pb&j bagel ☺️☕️
