I wasn't able to eat here. I'm giving a review on how they entertain guests.

I reserved for 3 people. There were multiple tables that are vacant. They seated us near the door where everyone pass by. I asked if we can seat on a lower table next to it and the hostess said that they are reserving it for people who are in a wheelchair. So I asked if we can be seated on an adjacent table and she said no. Well, guess what, we left!

We decided to give this restaurant a try besides the bad review but oh well.

Good food, service is normally slightly above average but misses occasionally. The water is not filtered. The mimosas are terrible (cheap orange juice). Strong coffee ☕ Portions seem to always be exactly the right size.

The Bitches say: A-. Nothing gourmet, but a reliable, comfy brunch establishment with a great patio, plenty of space, solid menu and a relaxed vibe.Read more on our site!

Ate here today for our organization's holiday lunch. Very good seafood salad. Others in the group enjoyed their dishes as well. Service was a little slow, especially given that there were hardly any customers there other than us, but there were eight of us and I think they wanted to bring everything out at once. I was happy that the soup was not cold when it arrived. What must have been an old menu online indicated that they serve oysters on the half shell, but they were not on the in-house menu, and they seemed extremely puzzled when I inquired about oysters. The consensus was that we would dine there again. Nice atmosphere, too, except when that front door opened and the frigid air blew through.

Solid Sunday brunch spot with a tasty, flaky, & buttery crab cake benedict. Pair with Ulah's mimosas and outdoor patio for maximum effect. The location is great for people watching - it's right across the street from Ben's Chili Bowl and the U Street Visitor's Center - and the atmosphere is super laid back. The corned beef hash also looked delicious.
