02/19/2016 5:25 pmThe food tasted good but the service left a bad taste in my mouth. I ordered a sandwich and asked for the sweet potato fries. The cashier said the sandwiches come with regular fries I said "okay well can I have the sweet potato fries?" I paid extra for them, no problem. But when the food came I had a huge pile of regular fries and a huge pile of sweet potato fries. When I pointed out that I thought it was meant to be a substitution, the server shortly replied " We don't do that." As he walked away I simply said "that's a waste, I can't eat all of this." And then the cook standing at the front, and 7 feet away from where I was eating, turns to the other employees and starts complaining about me as if I'm not even present. I will not be returning to this location. |

11/20/2015 2:15 amI would probably choose Uncle Sam's over Primanti Bros any day. The subs are much tastier and filling here, but at the same time they are not overly greasy or messy like those at Primanti. |

10/30/2015 12:00 amGreat steak subs made in a variety of ways. If you eat in they give you fries. I usually also order the sweet potato fries as they are delicious. But overall I can not eat here much because it is a bit greasy. |

06/21/2015 3:07 amI go here for the Buffalo chicken sub which is making my mouth water as I write this at 11pm home in bed. Can't wait til I get my hands on another! Also. If you are reading this and a huge fan of anything buffalo and are in squirrel hill go to pastoli's (formerly mandys) and order the bufallo chicken pizza. It is a unique mind blowing experience to say the least. |

05/15/2015 2:10 pmI've been going to Uncle Sams on a regular basis since I was 14 years old. If I'm meeting up with a friend from high school it is the obvious venue to choose. I admit that the uncle sam-wiches arent aren't always perfect subs, but to me they are one of the most Pittsburgh things in the world. |
