Unique Pizzeria, Atlanta, Georgia Restaurant Details

I'm in Atlanta once a year for a convention. Last year, I ordered Pizza Hut and we waited over 2 hours for a cruddy pizza and they ignored our calls when we wanted to find out where our order was.

Actually did some research this time. After I ordered online, I received a call from them letting me know that they were out of Coke and that the delivery would take about an hour due to other events in the city. The driver called me to let me know exactly where he was in the hotel and was extremely friendly. On top of it, the pizza is great. It's not your run-of-the-mill chain pizza.

Definitely ordering from them again when I come back next year. Really good customer service.

Was the closest place to the hotel. Reccomended by staff. Got quick delivery. Good pizza. Maybe order extra sauce as that was a little lite for my taste. Would order again.

Update as of 8/29/2012: Delivery was pretty quick and the pizza was done pretty well. Kind of on the floppy side. The wings were good - on the crispy side/not swimming in sauce.

Update as of 7/29/2012: The wings were crispier and the mushroom pizza was great - the crust was crispy but not dry and the cheese/toppings were adequate. I'm ordering the same thing as of 8/29, just to see about the consistency....

First time ordering from Unique Pizzeria. Not so bad; may order again...
Wings: The wings were actually Hot (spicy) as ordered; tasty indeed. I only wish they weren't swimming in sauce; I prefer a crispy buffalo wing to a slimy one (just my preference).
Pizza: I ordered a 15" (medium) w/ pepperoni, mushroom and black olive. They were very generous with the black olives, which may work against them (black olives are not very cheap), but seemingly skimpy on the 'shrooms. The crust was crispy; with some darker spots that indicate brick oven cooking, which is a plus.
Delivery: Right about on time. There persists some confusion with delivery to my apartment complex, no matter who I order from. I try my best to tell the driver where to go, but for some reason there is always confusion.
Overall, I'd give Unique Pizzeria a 4 out of 5 - a solid contender in the Atlanta pizza delivery business.
