04/11/2015 1:09 amALRIGHT. So, It's amazing food, I don't like Oysters but my friends and family say they're the best when you mix the west and east coast ones. The Fettuccine with Clams are amazing, beers are amazing. I will tell you now, it's always busy here, on a Friday night, it was a '2 hour' wait, give them your number, have them text when the table is ready, we go to the bar next door at the bar, get a drink and 30 minutes in, your table is ready. Service is great and atmosphere is great, highly recommend it who love beer and Oysters. |

01/10/2015 2:40 am5 stars considering the happy hour special, but 4 stars otherwise. $12 for 6 oysters and a craft beer is quite the deal. Price aside, my coffee flavored craft beer was good and unique. The oysters were awesome. I also tried their sea urchin plate and cioppino. Sea urchin was a small collection of egg yolk, salmon roe, and sea urchin. Sea urchin itself was great, but the pairing seemed a bit strange. Cioppino was quite generous in size and variety. It included clams, mussels, fish, shrimp, and large scallops. I do think certain components were overcooked and rubbery, but overall the stew was wonderfully aromatic. The environment is very cozy and friendly. |

01/08/2015 2:59 pmGreat casual spot in the east village for shellfish and beer. You'll find a small area for tables but a nice bar seating area. Service was outstanding as they explained all available oysters available and the different varieties of beer. We went for the siracha shrimp which looked fresh with the heads still on to add flavor and a nice kick. The seared scallops which had a nice ocean scallop flavor and the go to items a variety of oysters. Great price point on the oysters and suggestions from staff were spot on for sweetness and brineyness. Large variety of beers to accompany as well which will suit your taste. |

11/02/2014 9:03 pmThis place is great. The seafood was incredibly fresh. I highly recommend the squid and kale salad. So unique and delicious. The house cured salmon was melt in your mouth status...so fatty just the way I like it. The linguine with clams was ridiculously heavy and creamy but so freakin satisfying. The fish entree we ordered was a little dry but the roasted vegetables under it was so good. And the complimentary whiskey cake they serve at the end of the meal was a great way to finish off the meal. Awesome service too! |
