Brunch is aaaamazing. Bottomless bellinis with seasonal purees (with your own bottle of champagne so you can make your own) are fantastic and the food is just as good

One of my absolute favorites in Dupont--pizza, pasta, salads; everything is delicious! The staff are always friendly and some even greet me by name. My recommendation: always start at the bar for a cocktail before dinner, it's huge and the vibe sets the tone for a great night out.

Came here earlier this week and had a great time. I've been many times before for brunch and happy hour, but this was my first time having a full meal. Well done. The Halibut was excellent and the wine selection was great. Also had the salmon crudo to start, which was great as well. The dining room looks cool with all of the green tiles the service staff took good care of us. The price wasn't cheap, but also was breaking the bank. It's a place worth checking out for a good dinner.

the place is classy. service is awful at the bar. visited 3x and every time been barely recognized and had to ask for my check 2 out of 3......so far. the managers need to stop gossiping with team and make sure they are focused on guests. I would hope table service was better. but never even tried

I went to Urbana last week for happy hour. I was in a group, so we split the bill up on a few different credit cards. For my card, I listed the amount to be charged and included tip in my calculation.

Flash forward to this week. I checked my credit card statement and noticed I had been charged an additional $10! I immediately contacted Urbana (or tried to, the email address on their website doesn't work). The next day, they confirmed I had been overcharged and refunded the money.

I realize this sort of thing happens. It's late and dark, and people misread the tip. I've had it happen a couple of times to me in the past. Whenever it did, the business's manager was hugely apologetic and reassured me that sort of thing would never happen again.

But at Urbana? Not even an apology. It was a "whoops, you caught us, here's your money back" sort of email. Unbelievable. Make sure the same doesn't happen to you.

Just off Dupont Circle in the Hotel Palomar, this personable, recently renovated Italian offers a delicious menu abetted by seasonal vegetables plucked from a rooftop garden; a sexy-cool bar scene overseen by hospitable staffers is particularly friendly to groups.
