04/24/2015 10:52 pmThis is easily my favorite sushi place in Philadelphia! The atmosphere is calm and serene and the cozy setting is perfect for a romantic dinner. The owner prepares all the sushi himself and he is always warm and inviting. I have tried almost the entire menu and I have never been disappointed. This is the best kept secret for sushi in the city and I know because I've eaten at all of them and no one comes close to UZU. Yes, not even the legendary Morimoto. |

01/23/2015 12:47 amBest Sushi in Philly and I've lived downtown for 5 years. Small dining room with the most professional and attentive owner. Seems a bit odd at first but as soon as you sit down you feel so welcome. Well priced and delicious. Has become one of my go-tos |

05/02/2013 1:33 pmDon't visit this place - they are the best at selling you sushi without fish for the price of normal rolls. Not even saying that sushi are tiny as well. I have never seen sushi with traces of fish... Extremely disappointing experience and the waiter became extremely defensive when I pointed out that there is almost no fish inside the rolls and started yelling at me. If you don't want to spoil your evening, don't go there. I hardly can understand how anybody might have plausible experience there. |
