I have done business with Vance Godbey's and Carol Godbey and have always had great service.

I HIGHLY recommend Vance Godbey's Catering. They are truly wonderful in all they do. The food was tremendous. Everyone at our wedding loved it. We are still getting compliments on how great the food was. I have to personally compliment the spinach salad with a raspberry dressing, goat cheese, and pecans. I have never liked any salads, but I loved this. It was amazing. Also the service was wonderful. They all went above any beyond. One sweet lady brought the bridal party all waters while we waited outside to be introduced into the reception. My parents, Stephen, and I could not have been more pleased with Vance Godbey's Catering.

Ate there with my husband on the 14th and both of us got sick. The only thing we both ate was food from the salad bar. We ate completely different hot food selections. Obviously the salads were not kept cold enough. We were both ill for 4 days afterward. They have been in business for decades and surely know how important it is to keep cold foods cold enough to not begin to spoil. We have eaten there for decades and love their food. It is always so delicious but we both felt so bad that I don't think we will try it again. If you eat there leave the salads alone!

Website has been "Under Construction" for months. Ridiculous !!! They now charge extra for seconds on meats. Ridiculous !!! Ribs are always so over smoked that the ribs cause patrons a lot of gastric distress throughout the remainder of the day. That means belching up the excessively "thick smoky taste" again & again. Yuck !!! I occasionally get some that aren't that way but I guess the meat servers like to "fix" me up more often than not.........oh, good luck on your waiter giving you decent service as half the time ours are pitifully inept..........I actually told one "waitress" that she was almost totally worthless and to please go "wait" on someone else.........now you'll know the actual facts about this place. Beware the over smoked ribs !!! Belch !!!

I would not support this business who is Carol Godbey CEO, due to malpractice in business ie. overworking employees by not giving breaks which is State Law and forcing to clock out on short breaks. Employees are scolded if trying to get water or complaining of being tired. There are no write ups for calling in due to radical work hours, only being fired. No wonder she can not keep good employees. Their are no real cooks working, there are only revolving caterers, dishwashers, and cleaners who cook the food.
