Vegiterranean is one of my favorite restaurants. For a vegan, it's very refreshing to order anything on the menu and not worry about the ingredients. I try to make it here for lunch or dinner at least once a month. I'd visit more if it were closer to Cleveland. The staff has always been pleasant and helpful. The food is flavorful and well prepared. The dessert alone is reason to check it out!

I've been here several times and NEVER disappointed. It's the only place I get appetizer, salad, entree and dessert! Creative and delicious foods, you MUST try something with the whipped cream (maybe just a bowl of it!). Funky style and great ambiance.

My only complaint is it is just too pricey for regular visits. We still need a nice, affordable vegan or veg place in the area. Check the PRICING on the specials or you could end up with a massive surprise when the bill arrives.

I was glad that Chrissie Hynde had not made the place a Pretenders-theme bar. In fact, I saw just one piece of Pretenders memorabilia in the entire place. We got a window seat that gave us a nice view of the industrial valley which are spanned by a couple of bridges. The decore was hyper modern --- stainless steel and glass everywhere. It seemed more New York City than Akron.

Our server was great. She didn't push anything on us, and when she brought us a pot of the wrong tea, she quickly apologized, got us the right pot, and gave us the wrong pot for free. (By the way, both pots of tea were delicious.)

The food was well conceived and executed; everyone cleaned their plates.

(The liquor selection looked good, though I did not get the chance to look closely at it. I didn't see the wine selections, so I can't comment on that topic.)

If I had one gripe it would be that Vegiterranean's beer selection was a little narrow, and the beer prices were a bit high. $5 for a pint of Sierra Nevada Pale Ale? Yes, they can charge that in New York, but that's a bit much for Ohio, where $8 can get one a 6-pack of Sierra Nevada Pale Ale.

The bottom line is: I liked it, and I'll go back.
