03/28/2010 4:50 amI had a reservation for 10 on March 27th at 8pm. They said they had my name on the books, yet they did not have one table available for us to sit. We were also suppose to see the jazz show. I was told it cost $7 when I called, when we get there I'm told it's $25. I am very disappointed in this place. The manager also was too busy starring at my friends cleavage, rather than talking to me about their mess they made of my reservation. As a result, we had to go to the restuarant next door and they were glad to accomodate us. I organize a meet up of 300 women and I will never schedule an event at this place again. |

07/06/2009 6:54 pmWhile walking around Inner Harbor I stumbled upon this resturaunt by accident. I love that it feels as if you are off the beaten path and really enjoyed the interesting and warm decor. Lots of great wood and brick work, beautiful bar, a converted warehouse feel with great attention to detail. I ordered the chicken parmigiana and a house salad. The chicken was tender with a perfectly cooked crust, the sauce and noodles were very good and the side serving of vegtables were some of the best I have ever had. I ordered the house salad and couldn't even finish it because the meal was so plentiful. The chicken parm meal was $12.50 and the salad around $4.00. Very reasonably priced meal in Inner Harbor. There was a sign on the window that you could get an Angus burger at lunch for only $3.99 so that is a great price for that area also. Our wait staff was very friendly and informative. Every employee that walked by us made sure we were well taken care of. All in all it was a very enjoyable experience and I would make sure to return again if I find myself in the area. |

04/19/2008 3:29 amThis was a horrendous meal, without question the worst meal I've had at a restaurant of this alleged level ever. PLEASE do yourself a favor and ignore the platitudes they advertise outside the restaurant about getting some nameless awards. Go around the corner on High Street and get a decent Italian meal. We got suckered in, and I swear we sent 2 of 4 dinner plates back to the kitchen because the food was ineptly cooked or cold, a sure sign things aren't going well. The 3rd plate wasn't sent back but it could have been. The 4th one was spaghetti and meatballs, even they couldn't mess that up beyond recognition - although to be honest it wasn't very good. When a couple sitting nearby leaves and comes over to say they overheard our problems and said the execution of their meal was just as poor, it's further sign that the staff is incompetent. And management was nowhere to be found...I think one was at the bar reading the paper and the other was smiling as we left. I would have made a fuss, but we had Orioles tickets and they took so long to serve us we were sprinting to make the game as it was. As a public service I'll tell you: avoid this place and don't get ripped off. |
