Fun atmosphere, good drink specials.

Food:

Mediocre beer selection, sub-standard pub food and typical Portland shitty service by hipster bartenders who I'm pretty sure have an annual conference to discuss how they can better appear disinterested in doing their jobs. I gave the cash tip to the server who actually delivered the food and closed out my bill rather than the douche who just stood there and even made eye contact with me but made no attempt to engage despite me being the only one standing at the bar. Screw this place. I'm over it. I went to Saint Pizza Lounge later that evening and had AWESOME service. Avoid Vendetta.

Food:

Drinks: There's a reason it's a popular compromise bar between beer and booze drinkers - good pours and plenty of drafts/cans. Not the deal it once was.
Food: Overpriced for what it is.
Atmosphere: Perfect patio in the summer when smokers aren't crowded around the heaters. Generally a good North Portland crowd. Much like Mauis, it's strange to see it surrounded by highrises now. Unlike Mauis, they seem to be letting it change them.
Service: Could stand a few more bartenders on certain nights (self-entitled, over-qualified server factor: moderate).
Best for: S-h-u-f-f-l-e-b-o-a-r-d.
Worst for: This isn't the type of place you would be comfortable at without a group of friends.

Food:

I finally dropped in here after driving past it for the last year on a consistent basis. Vendetta is the type of hidden treasure you want your friends to know about, but not necessarily all of them. A noticeable lack of signage or particular curb appeal, this bar opens up inside to a fantastic space complete with gratuitous outdoor space. Great prices on the drinks and superb bartenders

I live in NE and vendetta is one of my favorite bars to go to. In the summer it has an amazing zen patio with a roll up door. the drinks are always quality and average priced. the food is average as well but the nachos are pretty bomb. we love coming here because its one of the places where you just always have a good time. they have a sweet shuffleboard table and good music.
