12/12/2015 11:32 pmWorst service. Marilyn, our server, does not have any manners and was flat out rude. Even after spilling an entire cup of chopped onions in my 7 month old daughters diaper bag she did not utter the word "sorry" until she saw I was upset. Never again. |

10/14/2015 10:27 amDisappointed. This place was the happening place in the 80's. It seems as though most of the folks visiting this place are stuck in the 80's as well. El Camino is much better. |

07/16/2014 1:11 amExtremely disappointing "mexican" food. Can you actually call yourself a Mexican restaurant with Frank's Red Hot as your only available hot sauce. The bottled beer and the ribs are all that is worth ordering. |

09/15/2013 6:19 pmMy friend actually drove me here from Ann Arbor because she said the food was amazing and she needed me to tell her what type of cheese they used on the Nachos and Tacos. OMG... seriously? Lets start with the Chips and salsa. Not only were the chips bagged but the salsa was from a jar. I work in the restaurant industry and buying frozen chips to fry fresh is so cheap! Why use such inferior products. The Nachos came next. We got them with Chicken which tasted like canned chicken and then were topped with shredded block American Cheese. AMERICAN CHEESE?!?! Really? I then ordered a Wet Burrito. No sauce on this Burrito. Why call it a wet burrito if its not wet. Also it was covered with so much American cheese I almost hurled. Ordered it with Spanish Rice and I am 99% sure that this came from a box. |

11/27/2012 8:19 pmAfter reading that the building housing this restaurant was a prohibition era speakeasy, the abysmal quality of the food sort of made sense. This is not "tex mex" much less Mexican. The menu itself is bemusing and the food was downright gross. The beans were so greasy that they were separating. The 'salsa' was barely spicy at all, almost flavorless besides and ice cold. The enchiladas were basically tortillas rolled with cheese, no enchilada sauces at all to be seen. The chips, at least, were not stale. That's the best I can say for the food. |
