I don't eat here enough. Great food! Beautiful restaurant and lovely staff. With kids, we went well after the lunch rush and it was great. I would prefer to go with just my wife for a nice dinner though! Quite possibly the best food in Lincoln....

Made a reservation for mothers birthday and they "lost" our reservation. Steak was cooked on one side, raw on the other. Another steak was cooked well when ordered medium. I would not expect this for a $30 steak. Mules are good.

Recently had dinner @ Venue... disappointed with our experience. Wait staff friendly but not there for drink reorder or dinner order when timing called for it :( Know there have been chef changes & that is definately reflected in / on menu. Husband had steak and no complaint. I had a lobster pasta dish (not the former mac & chz which is off the menu) & was sadly disappointed. Gummy bowl of what ?? Didn't eat much as appearance / presentation left much to be desired and taste ???... Not much to be impressed with. Will return but hopeful for much better experience.

Me and a few of my friend's visited Venue for dinner on Valentine's Day. We had a very poor experience and we all left whole party unimpressed.

1. My friend called in a reservation for 4 at 930pm. My two friends arrived early and were seated. When me and my date arrived, they thought the reservation was only for 2 so we had to wait for the host to add two more place settings.

2. Our server did not mention any special to us before we ordered. We had to ask her for it. She was also not knowledgeable of appetizers we had questions on.

3. Me and my date shared "Three by the Sea". The risotto was severely undercooked so we asked our server for properly cooked risotto. When she came with another risotto, she was not apologetic for the incorrectly cooked food. Both risottos were also very bland and with no seasoning at all. Our server did not come by to ask how the replacement risotto was. I am not even sure if she contacted a manager on this issue like they have in the past (I've always had a manager talk to me whenever some item at Venue was cooked incorrectly).

4. My friend ordered the roasted Cornish hen. This chicken was also very under seasoned and my friend simply only took a few bites and ended up eating her date's steak because she couldn't eat the hen at all. Once again, our server did not ask how our food was.

5. The server was unable to split an appetizer we ordered so she ended up just putting it on my friend's bill.

6. When we left, the two hosts up front did not say a word.

I also emailed management on my concerns and once again, no apologies from them at all. I will never set foot in Venue again.
