We had heard and read that this was the place to try if you are visiting Miami. The wait was 30 min on a Friday afternoon at 3, it was filled with locals and tourists. Every bite got better my wife order a sampler plate and I ordered the skirt steak and the worst part was that it had to end. It is a simple place that has a old school feel, the menu is varied and the service was decent considering how busy they were. This is a fantastic restaurant and if you can get to it I would suggest it.

Perhaps I've been here a few too many times due to visitors, but I have to say Versailles is severely overhyped. I'm just not sure why it is a must-eat - maybe because it serves the hallmark Cuban cuisine, but even then it is not particularly good. The ropa vieja has been dry and the carne asada was much too spicy the last two times I went. The moros was also too salty and seemed old. The large parking lot is nice I suppose...(this would be me searching for something nice to say). The decor is also built to simulate the actual Hall of Mirrors, which may be a reason to bring a tourist around. Come here once and you'll either leave satisfied or with a disdain for Cuban food - if the latter, I'd suggest trying a more authentic establishment on Calle Ocho.

As a local and living in this beautiful city. I should have known better than to go here, It's a tourist trap and the food was horrible. I order a chicken sandwich that took longer then the other 3 plates my friends ordered. I use to love coming to this place so much history really delicious foods but not no more. Don't recommend it feels like eating at Mcdonalds. Very sad.

Great food with very large portions. Our waiter was very nice and waited on us very quickly when we arrived.
While you wait and look through the menu you're brought toasted Cuban bread with a hint of chimichurri which is a very nice touch.
Only thing I can complain about is the place is very busy and the waiters don't come back often to make sure everyone is happy with their dishes or need water or anything else. Overall very pleased and when I am in Miami once again I'll stop in every time.

"Artists, politicians and businesspeople" (and, when Cuba is in the news, TV crews) pack this "high-energy" Little Havana "landmark" that dishes up "ample" yet "affordable" portions of "authentic" Cuban standards; while the "big", no-frills space can get "crowded", service is generally "professional and quick"; P.S. insiders advise "save room" so you can "go next door to its awesome bakery."
