Victorian's Midnight Cafe, Columbus, Ohio, Coffee Restaurant Details

Food:

Always a little noisy to study
Staff seem nice
Not much direction going on in there
Takes a long time to get food
Drinks are quick, its really more of a bar to me
Its a nice place to show your friends and say "Look at the "local flavor" I found

There are bands that come in. Most of them are good.

Food:

I went to study and grab a cup of coffee. Next thing I know, a white trash fight broke out between two women and a man. Besides being dirty and grungy, the clientele were horrible and the service was non-existent.

Food:

I guess it's a bad sign when you walk into a restaurant on a Saturday morning at 1030am and you're the only customers within a 10 mile radius. If you think this would give you a leg up on the amount of time it will take to have your food prepared by being the only customer, you're WRONG.

Not only did our scrambled eggs take almost an hour to prepare, half of the food was brought out 20 minutes before the other half. What is this all about? I'm not sure if it was the chef's first day, but apparently timing was not his/her key forte in Little Debbie's cooking school. Nor was the ability to make toast, as usually people here on earth prefer their toast be served any color but BLACK.

After consuming enough water for a marathon hydration station during our hour long wait, the bathroom would be the next logical step. Nope, not here. Items such as soap, paper towels, and toilet paper are hard commodities to find in these parts. No worries, I'll just wait until I get home (I've already waited this long, what's 20 more minutes?).

The waitress was nice and the coffee was really good. As far as timeliness of service, save your time and go to Waffle House.

Pretty relax atmosphere. I love the couches & the painted walls.
