Been coming here for years and it is still my go to for hangover mornings. Sure the staff doesn't speak great English, sure it's crowded sometimes, sure they get orders wrong from time to time, but the food is great. I do not know of another place I can get gelatin pig skin, pork roll, tofu, and boiled blood all in a spicy soup. Love it.

Very crowded. Our waitress barely spoke English and got our order wrong. We didn't even bother to complain because of the language barrier. The Pho was not good at all and our entrees were so greasy. The chicken and shrimp seemed old. So gross. I dragged my husband here because of its raving reviews and was embarrassed. I will never come back again. Don't waste your money.

I've been eating here for the better part of a decade. Hands down my favorite place to eat in KC. The Chicken Pho and Vermicelli Combo are my standards along with the coffee. Delicious food, nice friendly folks, very reasonable prices.

You don't find better Pho in the city. I've eaten ate most of the places. The broth is unspeakably delicious. The spring rolls are divine. Service is brisk, and the prices very reasonable. It gets a little crowded and there's times when I just can't wait for a table and have to eat somewhere else though. They do offer take out, as well.

If I could rate this lower I would. My go to pho spot is usually Nguyen in the river market. I ventured here on an outing with my mother, only because Nguyen was closed for the day. Upon arrival my first impression was how filthy and cluttered the restaurant looked. I got over that, but when my bowl arrived I was greeted by a moth in my food. I could have gotten over it if the waitress would have alleviated the situation. But after informing her, she pretty much shrugged it off. I wasnt offered a new bowl or even a discount on my meal. My mother is very uncultured and doesn't venture into ethnic foods very often, and this place was an absolute embarrassment. The pho did not taste fresh, nor did the order of spring rolls. We paid $50 on a table full of food that I could have made better myself. Heck I could have spent half of what I paid here at Nguyen and had better food, service and a clean environment. I will NEVER return here or recommend it to anyone.
