Village Inn, Aurora, Colorado Restaurant Details

Food:

It's Village Inn and I got just what was expected. Nothing more nothing less.

Food:

I live just around the corner and have been going here for the past 15 years. We have always enjoyed it. Tonight though, poor service was noted. We could not get the attention of our waitress to ask for anything else to drink. As it was, my husband ordered 2 drinks, I ordered iced tea. No water was eve available when we ran out. The usual, would you like some pie after dinner, was not asked until we went to the register, and not by our waitress. I guess this is the way you get around the free slice of pie if not offered. I was disappointed tonight, but had to get home since I was thirsty after eating the slice of ham that came with my ultimate platter. I also have to comment on where did the other staff go. There was no one there that was familiar. I guess there is a first time for everything, and the bad service tonight was it. As the waitress saw us get up, then she approached the table, but did not say a word.

Food:

When we asked for a booth the hostess, Mary Ann rolled her eyes and spoke into a tiny headset to someone, seated us,walked away and was very very rude. Our waitress was very nice and attentive.

Food:

the manager was less than understanding when my daughter who just had surgery wanted to share a dish with her 7 month old daughter.. my daughter's food choices are very limited and the childrens menu was the only thing that had food on it that she could eat . There was no understanding, no compassion even though we offered to pay for an adult meal in addition to the childs meal. We went to this particular village inn often, know the servers by name and always before enjoyed eating there. I am sorry to say that it will be a cold day in hell before we go back there.

Food:

Portions were terrible. Service was slow. Bagel arrived after we finished eating. Then, to top it off, a balloon artist was walking around. She came up to our table (we thought this was complimentaty) made a balloon for our daughter. She had a big button saying "suggested tip $10". We got suckered.
