This place is disgusting serving outdated, soggy, moldy, cold, or stale food. Twice my friend and I went to this place. On both my friend was served a slice of pie with mold on it. We really gave this place a second chance thinking ok, maybe this is rare or it doesn't happen too often. We were WRONG. We love Village Inn..then when it happened again we both agreed to never go to this one ever again. It took me going there a total of 5 times to realize they need to work on maintaining food out of the temperature danger zone and consistently inspect and discard outdated food. They don't do that apparently. I mean it happens so frequent its scary, I don't know why it had not been shut down yet. I went there once by myself and ordered some turkey with mashed potatoes. The mashed potatoes were cold and tasted not so fresh either and the turkey was barely warm with cold spots on it like its been taken from the cooler or wherever it came from and thrown in the micro for 20 sec. I had to order something else. Then the latest thing that happened to me which was the straw that broke the camels back was when I went there the other day at around lunch time and the same waitress that served me the cold mash potatoes served me a soggy slice of the new Boston creme pie. Then when she came back to check on me to ask how I was doing, I told her I didn't like the pie. She was like "awwww.. sorry to hear that" then went on to the next customer..WTF. I complained to the manager and said she needs to be reprimanded for not even giving me an opportunity to pick something else or even ask me how she can fix the problem. She just left me hanging! what a dumb c***. I left her no tip of course, and I was given a 10% discount for the inconvenience. (Like really? that's gonna solve everything?) I am not ever coming back here ever again. Consumers, you've been WARNED. Unless you want to get sick, or get skipped by the waitress like the dumbo I just mentioned, Don't come here. Go to another village inn and spare yourself from a potential food poisoning, rude poorly trained waitress, and overall waste of your time and money.

What happen to your ingredeints to make pancakes? Ten yrs ago -When I first moved out to Co. I placed your pancakes above all others but the last 2X times I tried them.; At your Garden of the gods location they tasted like sawdust. Very very disappointed and I will have to tell others to go back to IHOPs or other mom and pops places I.e. Northend dinner or Sheltons. Your pancakes ranks below all others and lest someone still like your cakes id tell them to get their tastebuds checked out
