Village Inn, Lincoln, Nebraska Restaurant Details

Decent breakfast food. I like to stop in for free pie.

I have never felt so unwelcome in a Village Inn before. The hostess kept going out to smoke our waiter assumed we were drunk. Our drinks were never refilled, and the staff spent a lot of time just sitting on their phones. I understand it's 3am, but still. :/

The food was good. We had to wait a while and were sitting in the cramped middle area but nothing to major to complain or praise about.

Terrible customer service. Reccomend Virginias cafe or ihop. Manager Jason is rude and inconsiderate. Don't waste your money or time.

Not sure what has happened but staff is not good anymore. Had a waitress that was very friendly at first... then completely forgot about us. No refills, no asking if we would like deserts, etc. Brought out the food and dropped the bill.

That's how you deserve a BIG FAT 0 for a tip. I'm usually quite good and always tip 20% or more if service is outstanding and that night was a joke 4/2/15.

I will say the food was fantastic, cooks are good. Customer service blows.

I wouldn't recommend just due to service.
