On an impromptu night out for dinner, i recommend we go to this place, as it is close to home and has gamblers bonus. I bring $80 in cash, hand $20 to my girlfriend, and we start playing. She loses her $20 quickly, and i eventually spend my 1st $20 shortly after ordering a bud light from the bartender. I continue playing, looking at the menu, and hit for $50. I cash out at $45, tip the bartender $5 on the bar, and switch machines with my girlfriend. We order our food, While eating i continue to play and proceed to lose the remainder of the initial $80 plus winnings, aside from the $5 tip, on this machine. At this time i still haven't finished my first beer. I finish my beer and ask for another. Satisfied with taking the loss and enjoying dinner, we ate our food, and then asked for the bill. I understand the economy may take a toll on such establishments, but for a franchise that owns multiple locations in town, one would think they don't have to be this opportunistic and prey on those who choose not to challenge their comping strategies. I chose not to speak up in the establishment, as this is not the first incedent. I chose to use this medium to voice my displeasure, and i vow i will not gamble, eat, or even use a restroom in any Village Pub again.
