04/04/2013 1:38 amI've been a regular customer of Vincent's Bistro for at least 5 years. Dollar for dollar, it has to be the best food in town. But lately the service has been lacking due to understaffing. My party of 3 arrived on a weeknight at 5:40pm. Only four other tables were occupied, but the only server was still very busy, explaining the menu, taking orders, and serving drinks. We waited 15 minutes to get our order taken, just before the restaurant began filling up. Who knows what was going on in the kitchen. We didn't get our appetizer until 6:20 and our entree until 6:30. Two other servers eventually arrived, but hardly any food was coming out of the kitchen. At least we got served before any of the people who arrived after us. I asked to see Vincent but was told he was gone for the day. It will be awhile before I go back and when I do, if things haven't improved, I'm done. |

03/17/2013 3:25 pmYou know that little, lesser-known, hole-in-the-wall, amazing restaurant that you wish you could think of on a beautiful Saturday or Sunday morning, to spend your entire morning at, enjoying the weather, sipping fantastic coffee with impeccably made pastries (croissants!), rich béchamel sauce on some incredible egg dish and a waiter that just brings you randomly delicious things that you didn't order (and he doesn't charge you for!) because he had them in the back and just thought you might like them? Well, you found it. |

09/23/2011 8:22 amWent for restaurant week, food was mediocre and service was just ok. ONLY thing that redeemed this place was their duck tomale's. Really enjoyed them. Don't feel like this is for a younger crowd either. |

10/24/2015 12:27 pmOne of the "best bangs for your buck" in town, this "friendly" French "oasis", a sibling and neighbor to Vincent's on Camelback, delivers a "marvelous" and "reasonably priced" bistro menu for breakfast, lunch and dinner; "cute", transporting decor transforms it into an "outpost of Paris." |
