Vincent's, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania Restaurant Details

Food:

Repco 2 ordered pizzas: pepperoni, sausage, chese, mushroom-garlic, & salad. It was all delicious and on time. Friendly over the phone and reasonable prices and always has specials.

Food:

Vincents makes great Italian food. Great pizzas, great Italian hoagies, great pasta etc. The breaded zucchini appetizer is great, as well. I can't speak to the rest of their menu, but if you want good pizza or a good hoagie, give them a try. In this area, there aren't a lot of delivery places, and Vincents rarely has let me down in the last several years.

Food:

I've eaten here in the past and it wasn't bad, but tonight I made the mistake of craving some Buffalo style chicken wings. Buffalo might as well be a million miles away from here because apparently they have never actually seen how real Buffalo wings are made. What was served to me was a dozen of the scrawniest, breaded wings I have ever seen. These were quite obviously something breaded, cooked and frozen by some wholesaler to be reheated and tossed sadly on to my plate with hot sauce served on the side as an after thought. Buffalo style wings are never breaded, they are deep fried naked until crisp and then tossed in a coating of margarine and hot sauce and served with a side of blue cheese dressing, carrots and celery. Make them how you wish, but don't call them Buffalo wings!

Food:

After a fun filled day at Idlewild we decided to order here, pick up and take home, two hoagies and a dozen wings. When we got home my wings turned out to be a lack luster salad, and the buffalo chicken hoagie was burnt and blah. The other Italian hoagie was iffy at best. I called about the salad instead of wings and was told to give them ten minutes and come in and get my wings even though they are a delivery place. In my mind they should have offered to bring them to me. Because of this I decided to bring back the buffalo chicken sandwich. I was given two free beers while waiting for my food, which I find commendable and even tipped on. I like the people, just not the food. They have a bunch of new guys on staff, but I can honestly say, that was my third and last order from Vincent's.

Food:

Its sort of one of those hole in the wall placed that when you first walk in it throws you off! But talk about good food! We will return next time we are in the pittsburgh area!
