Quaint, romantic, great food, great taste and well prepared! Don't blink or you'll miss it and that would be a shame. The lobster bisque was perfect and the crab cakes have a nice kick to the sauce and slaw while still having that sweet crab taste. The toffee pudding cake was wonderful! We'll be back!

Loved this winery for our anniversary. We ate in the wine cellar it was beyond perfect. We took a stroll through the vines with a glass of wine at sunset, would highly recommend this winery spent 100 on food and four glasses of wine

My husband took me on a date night last night and surprised me with the Vineyards as its somewhere I have always said I wanted to try. First our waiter was excellent and I wish I could remember his name (young male, brown hair and eyes). I am not good at picking wine but I explained to him what I liked and he nailed it. I loved the flavor so much I bought a bottle to go. (which was 1/2 price to) We did the 3 course meal and everything was AMAZING. We got a appetizer, than house salad LOVE their dressing, I got the chicken and he got the salmon both were yummy and than we ended with the three flavored cheese cake. My only dislike was the wine choices you get to choose from I didn't care for. I would rather a appetizer be apart of the 3 course instead of the wine and than be able to pick my own wine. It was a romantic and quite environment we didn't feel rushed at all and we can't wait to go back!!!

My girlfriend and I went to The Vinyards for a nice evening together and....it was one of the best experiences we have had from San Antonio to Austin! And we eat out at nice restaurants frequently....but we usually always find incredible deals! For the experience and the food it is more than worth it! I feel sorry for anyone that thinks the service is less than amazing....that clearly would be a personal problem....the service on our night out was beyond awsome and if you fancy a server that knows his place of business and knows the foods the wines and how to make a good time definitely request Andrew! He was awesome! We would recommend this place to anyone looking for a beautiful night with great food friendly, stellar service and a great wine list that might have a pleasant surprise for you! Enjoy!

I went to The Vineyards on 05/12/12 the day before mothers day, this was going to be a special dinner for my mother. First off it a beautiful place, love the location. Everything went fine at first... we ordered Salmon Carpacci which was great! We then had some bread which was good (the Olive Oil was awful, way to salty) But after awhile the waiter seemed to disappear. Okay so I ordered a Prime Rib for dinner and I ordered it Medium Rare, same as my mother and a few friends, well it took bloody forever for the food to get to us, so when we finally got the main course we started eating and we all noticed our steaks were not Medium Rare, but very 'Well DONE'! which that is fine cooking 101 "how to fix a proper steak"... which they failed to do. We told the waiter about it and he said "I can take it back to the kitchen and recook it?" (with a I don't care attitude) and we said "NO it's cooked enough" and he backed up and said "Okay" and just walked off. Not even getting an a apology. The bill turned out to be little over $200, and it was nothing near worth it! The waiter was crap, the Cook is mediocre... but hey at least the Salmon Carpacci was good, but not $200 good. I say avoid this place, there are much better places around the San Antonio area, where the staff will be helpful and friendly, and the food will be cooked by real professionals. This place does not have ether of the two.
