Vihn-Long is a hidden gem for locals in Nashville. It's small in size but big on flavors. They are a family owned business and that's the way I like it. I have personally had too many items in the menu to list them all but a few of my favorites are:

#28 Large- When I 1st began eating here I only knew one thing... And that was the #28, which I found that others referred to the same. Its got chunks of beef and carrots, onions, mint leafs and peanut garnish top. It's base is a spicy red soup which works fantastic on cold winter days. It's a lot of food!!!

Iced Coffee-They have a wonderful iced coffee that comes with a mini individual cup sizes percolator, that percolates over a small amount of condensed milk. The condensed milk adds a nice sweetness that requires nor needs additional sugar.

Tempura Squid- Battered to perfection, the texture of the squid inside almost melts in your mouth.

Egg rolls- The egg rolls come out nice crispy and hot. They are served with a nice sweet dipping sauce that cleanses the pallet between bites of the soup for me.

This is a meal that will fill you up and not break the bank. Make sure you take cash though cause they don't take credit cards.

Terrible. I must have ordered the wrong thing, because I saw other Vietnamese or other Asian people eating in there. I have eaten Vietnamese food all over the world, except Vietnam, but never had it this bad. I figured for a hole in the wall it would be awesome... Guess I was wrong.

Pho soup was perfect, one of the best in the city. The service was quick and friendly. This is a hole in the wall kind of place. Clean, but not elaborate. Go for the amazing food! Definitely a must try.

This is a great hole in the wall Vietnamese restaurant. The beef and carrot stew is excellent! Huge portions, you'll only need the small size.
Do NOT go here for the great service or nice atmosphere, this is a DIVE but has great food!
