Worst good ever. Soggy, flavorless, not fresh. Yuck! I even gave it 3 chances.

Food:

Steak was raw.
The mashed potatoe gravy was sour...spoiled.
The waitress didn't know her alcohol beverages. Took us 4 times to repeate what we want.
Main course came 1st then the sides after I was 1/2 way done with my dish.
Manager said this is not a 5 star restaurant this is a place to get food less than $20.
Which means his food quality it good at all.

Not bad. Not good. Just food.

All taste like the same but they open 24 hours and are the only no fast food in the area, so it's really convenient. Even that the food it's not the best, I really love VIP'S, maybe because of the service, that always gave to me the best of their smiles.

Better for hamburgers or simply sandwiches. The portions are really big.

Also a good place to waste the time meanwhile you try one of their milkshakes. I never ordered any dessert, but they look pretty decent :)

Stay Away! I wished I had went to McDonald or Subway that day and not spent $35 in this dump! I came in, party of 2, and ordered curly fries with 2 dishes of rice and chicken. Food came out HALF HOUR later. I had to ask the server where is the fries multiple times. Her reply was, "it'll come out with your entree." What? Since when does appetizers come out with entrees? The hawaiian chicken dish ($13) looks like it came out of a CAN and microwaved. Tasteless chewy chicken in a pool of thick can sauce. Yuck!! We quickly get up to leave to get fast food somewhere else since we were hungry. The bill was $35 and I told them it did not taste good. The rude server cleverly replied, "oh you were here few weeks ago and did the same thing, ate and said the food was bad." No broad, I have never been to Jersey City or this nasty diner. This was my FIRST and LAST visit here. Horrendous experience.

Skip it and grab fast food at the pit stop on the highway would be 10 times better!!

Standard diner food. Not great, not horrible. My server was soo nice, but there was another server named Sonya. She was aweful. Bad attitude, annoyed with every request of her customers, and just rude. Avoid her if you visit this diner.
