More than just a taste of little Italy, this obscurely located and humble family restaurant has deservedly become a favorite for many.

I have always thought that Vito's food was well worth the money. The marinara sauce is the best in town and the pizza is fabulous. Because this is a small restaurant and the wait staff is normally only two people, service can be a little slow if they get busy, but I know that going in so it's not a big deal. There are Italian restaurants in town that are more expensive for lesser quality food. My 5-star rating is based upon value for the money, especially at lunch. The owners have always been friendly to me as well.

Despite what some of these reviews may say, they have wonderful food and the service is great and friendly!

We had never been to Vito's and were asked to go by my parents and sister's family, there was a party of 9 people of us and that included 3 young children. When we got there we were seated, drink order was taken, and brought a few moment later. After 8-10 minutes had passed we had to flag a waitress down to take our orders. During the next hour we waited for our food the staff avoid our table. Now for any of you that have had the honor of dinning with a 8 month old, 11 month old, and a 5 year old this is a very very long time. Bread was served to the table about 15 minutes into the wait, but only five pieces, it was tasty. Little did we know that was the last tasty thing we got. And when the food finially arrived at the table about 8:30 pm some of the plates had been sitting under a lamp so long that the noodles where hard and cheese on top was chard dark brown. One of the plates had so much sauce that you could not taste what type of meat it was. When checking out we asked why they were so slow, and the response was they were trying to take care of the small groups of easy customers first. I can honestly say the experience and the food was a poor all the way around,never again.

We love Vito's! The staff is friendly and helpful, the atmosphere is cozy (not stuffy), and best of all the food is great! I always have to try something new, because the menu has so many great choices, but my husband always has his favorite, Mussels Fra Diavola, which is a variation of the menu item, Shrimp Fra Diavola. That's another great thing about Vito's. They will take custom order based off their already great authentic Italian menu. And, don't pass up dessert. Our favs are Tirami Su an Cannolis!
