I was soooo hungry I could have eaten anything but I could not eat my food at Vito's. My daughter could not eat hers either. I never complain at restaurants and I always, always leave a good tip. I am a good spirited happy guy who never writes bad reviews, until today. Italian food starts with sauce. My father is from sicily so we had home cooked sauce often but I have also eaten plenty of canned sauce that was still edible.

I was fooled by the 23 point google review...The dead giveaway should have been how empty Vito's was while other surrounding places were packed.

The atmosphere was good, the Pino was good, the salad was fresh, the people were nice, there was even a pretty good band playing fun reggae Marijuana songs...All in all, I would have had a great dinner if only the tomato sauce were edible. Most good italian restaurants have olive oil and ground pepper at each table but that could have been overlooked if the tomato sauce was simmered properly. It was the worse tomato sauce I have ever eaten in my life. I left disappointed and hungry.

My daughter was slightly embarrassed because I left a note on my bill about the food. I thought I was nice and informative. I just pointed out that they should go to a few italian restaurants and learn how to do it better. I then asked her if she could eat her food and she shook her head and admitted she could not. She actually left her whole chicken parmesan dish un eaten. Chicken Parm is one of her favorite dishes.

Olive garden would have been 100 steps up. I chose Vito's instead last night because I wanted a little more.

Great Food!! Great Service!! I love the atmosphere and the food at Vito's is great. It's nice to eat at a family owned restaurant rather than the mundane chain.
Before you take a bad review to heart, consider the source. If the person writing the review can't spell, the review probably has flaws as well.

We've had the pleasure of dining at Vito's at least 8 or 9 times in the last few years and it quickly became our favorite. The food has never failed to be anything but absolutely delicious. It's always a bit crowded but that's just an indicator that many others know the food is fantastic. We've had great wait-staff and have never had less than a wonderful evening. I would highly recommend it to anyone.

Based on the reviews we decided to go to this restaurant. The service was good and the atmoshpere was good. The main course could have come from Chem boradee really disappointing. We had the owners sun as our waiter and he forgot to ask if we wanted salad at first and that was amusing I think it was his first night as a waiter. That didn't bother me at all but the Lasagna could have come from a can and that would be fine I guess if I had expected it. I however expected more though and so we were quite disappointed.
