Sometimes it's great but the last four times I've gone, they have forgotten an item. Every single time. No matter how small the order. Tonight I order (&paid for) three tacos and got only two, one I didn't even order. I used to never have an issue but, lately I find I always do. Whether it's the quality, taste, or forgetting items. Disappointing because I used to frequent/love this place.

3 stars because this place is 50-50. Some days you might get an enjoyable meal. Other days thanx for wasting your money. The parking lot is S.H.I.T and thats all the time. 95% of the servers wish you werent there. Then there is that other 50% of the time where the food is really good. The staff is plesent, speak english, and are glad to have you (mostly between 8 and 11). If they had a 2 and 1/2 id give it to them. So if your a gambler and feel like rolling the dice definitely worth a crap shoot.

Worked here for a summer job..it was fine and all. Made friends with some cool people, the manager is decent. The only thing I hated were the rude and ghetto customers, sheesh... The food is great as well. But I wouldn't work there again just because.

I ate at the North Pecos St. store in Denver, CO 07/20/2014 SUN 09:26. I decided to try it after years of driving by. It was the 2nd worst experience with Mexican food I've had in 54 years! I ordered the B-Breakfast Burrito, Bacon egg and cheese, and 2 green Tamales. The parking lot was in terrible shape. It was full of huge holes from what appeared to be old post holes from a previous drive in restaurant. It took about 7 minutes to get waited on at the register, even though there was only 1 other person in the restaurant, and he was waiting on his food. It took another 10 minutes to get my food. I had just come from a 12 hour shift at work, and church after that. I was ready to fall asleep before the food came out. What I got was NOT what I ordered! First, I got one red and one green tamale. I decided that wasn't worth mentioning and that I would be able to try both flavors. Tamales are supposed to be STEAMED! I got 2 of the driest, crustiest tamales I have ever had the displeasure of eating. I could not even cut them with the unwrapped plastic utensils that were stuffed into an uncovered container at the counter, Disgusting! Anybody could cough and sneeze on them! They were obviously warmed on the cooktop since they were so dried out and tough. Then I ate the burrito. It was the driest burrito I have EVER eaten! I even poured the 2 small containers of salsa into it, and it was STILL dry! They also left out the bacon! What I received was a burrito that had a tortilla that had not been warmed on the cooktop (it still had loose flour on it), 98% potatoes, 1.5% egg, and .5% cheese. NO MEAT! Since I had to wait so long initially, I went ahead and ate the burrito. I was going to tell the staff when I left, but they were all in the back or on the phone. I stood at the counter for several minutes before I finally left. That was $7.09 of the worst spent money I have ever had. The only thing that kept it from being the worst experience I have had with Mexican food, is that I didn't get sick from it! And THAT place actually had flavor in the food! And for your information, Mexican food is probably my favorite type of cuisine. 1 star is too many!!
