Viva Michoacan, Henderson, Nevada, Mexican Restaurant Details

Food:

Affordable and delicious food. My boyfriend and I are Mexican food fanatics. We usually cook it ourselves to save money, but every now and then we treat ourselves to a lunch or dinner at Viva Michoacan. The chips and salsa are delicious.

I’ve never paid attention to whether we drop in during off hours or not, but we have never yet had to wait for a table. A serious plus for this restaurant are the ultra clean bathrooms. This is a huge one for me. I hate to use public restrooms, but Viva’s got some clean ones. Not quite a five star establishment because occasionally the service is a little off, but pretty close. We can enjoy a good meal without killing our budget.

Food:

I love food. I especially love Mexican food. Chips and salsa is just about as close to heaven as you can get outside of the bedroom. I have yet to discover a perfect Mexican restaurant in Las Vegas, but Viva Michoacan comes pretty close. My wife and I have been eating here for several years, and they have gone through some pretty awkward stages, but now they really seem to have the system down to a science. The staff is efficient and friendly, the food is tasty, and the prices are fair and affordable. I’m a taco and Chile relleno man myself, and their rellenos are spot on. My wife absolutely LOVES “Zitacuaro” which is two enchiladas with green sauce.

Cute restaurant and very friendly and attentive staff. My husband ordered the green enchiladas and they were very good. The shrimp cocktail was ok. Yummy flan and strong margaritas. They had a lot of selections to choose from and the starter soup was bomb. They also don't use lard ever but use olive oil instead.

We have been going here for 5yrs now and can honestly say we have never had a bad experience here. The staff are always friendly efficient. The food is always well prepared, fresh and full of flavor. So to those who say otherwise, you must be professional whiners and I am glad you won't be at my next table.

Located 2061 West Sunset Road Henderson, NV just off sunset and sunset. This location is just a bit hidden but just and welcoming as the other locations. On this trip I ordered that same as the last just to check the consistency factor. I must say my No. 9 Cheese Enchilada & Beef Taco was every bit as good as the Lindo Michoacan location. The Sala again was the start of the meal. I think we are going to make these out new favorite Mexican Cuisine locations.
