I visited the north end for the first time, the street was packed with tourists and my friend wanted to go to an italian restaurant and it was packed. The matrade suggested Volle Nolle down the street.

The restaurant is very small and can only hold 16 people at a time. At first with the limited menu I was concerned but after the meal I want to go back again and again to try everything on the menu.

We started with sauteed Radishes in a honey butter sauce that were out of this world. Then they took our taste buds in a total different direction with a fresh greens salad with blueberry in a teart vinaigrette. We followed that up with mushrooms kielbasa and croutons for a spicy delight taking my buds higher up the rollercoaster of taste. The antra was a fall off the bone pork ribs cooked to perfection with delectable green beans and and plum tomatoes.

We finished up with cooked apricots with sea salt and powder sugar bed that was a delight to the eyes as well as the final taste on the amazing rollercoaster of a gourmet meal.

This is one of the best meals I have ever had. The owner served us with a happy face and a joy in her heart for what she shared with her guests. The food was so good I toke pictures but can't post them here or I would.

The menu must have been recently overhauled; there are no sandwiches or deli fare anywhere to be seen. Think instead small plates and wine bar. Everything we had was superb — radishes were fresh and balanced with sweet honey; ricotta, crab, and corn dip was rich and delicious; rose spritzers were out of this world. Service was friendly. The space is small and modern; think sleek date night. Loved it.

Awesome sandwiches. The tuna sandwich with the green beans is delicious. The ceasar salad with the fresh mint is devine. A great lunch spot in the north end.

What a hidden low key gem in the North End. Come here for great personal service and killer sandwiches and salads. They also offer great selection of wine by the glass. The front counter staff is friendly and incredibly knowledgeable. Great for takeout or a lowkey bite with friends. They transform the place at night with candles and such with an amazing rotating cheese plate. A must for an alternative north end experience
